MISSION PREP 01

Kaiross stood in front of a desk with his dissassembled M4A1. He looked around and saw that Rasz must have already left the Armory for the day, but he saw all the weapons he had asked for layed out on large tables all around them. He took a deep breath and turned back towards his trusty dissassembled M4A1. He stood absolutely still as his eyes inspected each individual part.

Three. He said standing absolutely still.

Two. Even his eyes stopped moving.

One. Silence.

GO!

Immediatley his hands flew over the desk, grabbing each individual parts and assembling them quickly and smoothley. 5 seconds had gone by, and then 15 seconds and then 30.

The completed M4A1 rested in his arms as the iron sights were trailed on a screwdriver at the opposite end of the room. He pulled the trigger and he heard a click. He sighed. Thirty seconds. He said. Not bad.

He turned towards the clock.

One Mike left ... He said placing the M4A1 on the table.

Tamara started running scenarios in her head as to what she might expect when she got to the armoury.
She decided that the best thing to do would be to leave on the heavy cargo pants but change into a different top. She chose a thick but breathable heather grey quarter sleeved top that fit snug. Completely different from the bulky cargo pants she wore now that a crew mate lended to her. Before running out her door she laced up her boots tight and pulled her hair band taut.

She ran down the wide, and brightly lit corridors and turned a corner into two large air lock doors that had already been opened and she walked through the entranceway.

Turning right she pasted through another archway, looking from wall to wall at the blinking lights coming from consols and weapon racks that reflected off of the walls and lit up the passageway.
Looking ahead she she spotted the commander sitting down at a desk with what looked like a rifle infront of him.

Kaiross turned around and saw Tamara entering the armory.

Right on time. He said and standing to face his subordinate.
"Welcome to the Briefing." He said motioning towards the massive desk that held a wide variety of weapons.

"I cant have any of my soldiers as green a grass, Pick a weapon that feels comfortable to you, and lets begin from there." [ Pick from weapons rack 001 and 002]

Standing at ease she looked up thoughtfully at the commander.
"Sir? will i be chosing a weapon myself?"
Looking past Kaiross at the large display of weapons and glancing back up at the commander tentatively, she pointed out.
"I am still a novice Sir..."
She paused for a moment, hesitating to say anything further.

Kaiross raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't you hear what i said the first time? I said pick a weapon you feel comfortable with. WE'LL BEGIN FROM THERE."

BOOM!!!

Suddenly, the two hear an explosion, far down the corridor towards the Heavy Armor Target Range.

"Yup, that's armor piercing alright!"

The voice belonged to a young-looking man with a rough, unkempt gotee. Walking twards towards them, chewing a toothpick, Kaiross is the first to notice the weapon he is carrying, a large, 6-foot long oversized shotgun over his shoulder.

"So, you were gonna do this without me?"

Kaiross' head snapped in the direction of the extremely loud BOOMING sound. "Coulda sworn he went to bed already." He thought.

"You mean operation: White Wedding? Or are you pertaining to finding the rookie a weapon?"

As he waited for a response he motioned for Tamara to hurry up and pick a weapon from the weapon racks. (001 and 002)

Tamara flinched hard at the sudden explosion and spun around in the direction from where it came. Stunned she watched as the two soldiers exchanged words candidly. With her mouth agape the commander turned his attention back to her and without a second thought she shut her mouth tight and strode past the commander tight-lipped, ignoring the sudden entrance from the unexpected crew member and approached the table covered with a plethura of different handguns and rifles.

She grazed over the various weapons with one hand, trying to inspect each before making her choice, every once in a while glancing up with cool demeanor as the situation progressed and the two men conversed infront of her.

She took her time as she went from weapon to weapon.
Well if I am to be carrying one of these with me all the time, it might as well be light enough.
she thought to herself.

Looking up she eyed the man with the overly cumbersome and impossibly large rifle slung over his shoulder.
She shook her head slowly to herself.
"Galoot..." she muttered
Her green eyes flashed back over to the commander before she continued browsing,
"....Impossible.." she murmured and sighing, focused her attention back to the table.

WIth no further hesitation she started searching through all the different handguns until she picked up what was called a "USP .45" and placed it next to a rifle she deemed sufficient enough for her to handle and had been eyeing since she started surveying the weaponry. Clearing a space, she placed the selected handgun next to what was called the FAMAS, her final primary weapon of choice.

"White Wedding?"

Raszsasal suddenly looked a little uncomfortable, he turns to Tamara then

"Here honey, let me find you just the right weapon, you see..." Then he noticed that the English lady had already found herself a pretty little handgun, and was now preping it for this upcoming mission

"Ok.., well have fun with that, anyways" Throwing the gun he was carrying down on the table beside her " So Capn....what's this White Weddin' buisness all about?"

Then leaning in closer to Kaiross he said in a loud whisper

"You two aren't already ummmm, you know......? Not that I'm critizizing your taste Sir, she is a fine young lady and all, just, aren't there rules about that sort of thing?"

Tamara's face grew hot and gripping the handgun she had been examining harder she fumed at the audacity of the crew member standing before her.

For the first half a second, Raszsasal's comment didn't register. But half-a-second later Kaiross took a silent but deep breath and responded.

"No we are not getting married, and were not sleeping together either. Sorry for the confusion, now lets move on we have a job to do." He said loud and clear. He walked past both of them and picked up the FAMAS that lay on the table.

"As you people know, we dealt a crippling blow to the chaos a few months ago." He paused taking a moment to remember the massive offensive the Royal and the Color Brigades, undertook a few months ago.

"And the V.I.P.'s are safe. But we have reason to believe that there are chaos remnants and that they are planning a strike during Asuka and Meimi's Wedding."

Bishop Walks in casually

whats this about a wedding? Has The Captain Already Proposed!?!

Bishop walked over the group and silently laughed to himself,

im only joking....

he said after seeing the reaction of Kiross' face.

"Glad you could join us Bishop." Kaiross said after giving him a look.

AS I WAS SAYING. He said, loading a full magazine into the FAMAS.

This is a stealth op that takes place during Meimi and Asuka's wedding which by the way...I am invited, which makes this assignment ten times easier.

He Tossed the Famas towards Tamara.

Tamara snapped out of her silent fuming and had just enough time to toss the handgun back onto the table to catch the FAMAS as it was tossed to her.
"who are Asuka and Meimi?"

She asked as she set the FAMAS down beside the USP.
She didn't understand the reason for all the jokes but she put it from her mind as she waited for the commander to explain the mission further.

"Stealth?"

Raszsasal immediatly hopped over the table, towards the Armory computer console, and began looking through the listed equipment to prep his Black Ops gear

Kaiross looked at Raz as he flew to his element. He couldnt help but smile at his friends enthusiasm. "Basic Espionage for this one Rasz, and perhaps something LOUD if things go sour."

After his quick comment, he walked over and picked up his completed MOD M4A1 and loaded a fresh clip into it. He nodded towards Bishop. "You might wanna fire up those boom powers of yours, grab a gun as well, we have to show this green horn how to send the chaos straight to hell."
He strode towards the firing range at the other end of the hall. Motioning Tamara to follow him.

[Now Missions have Rules, we cant just drop into a mission and post whatever we want. You are all welcome to become game masters of your own missions should you decide to start one yourself. If you choose to do so, you will be game master for your own mission. But for this introductory one (at least for Tamara) Ar0k is game master. So we will go into training mode for her in this firing range, feel free to jump in.]

Tamara watched the activity as she began to strap her handgun to her left leg.
She reached across the table to pick up the ammo for her USP and pocketed a few into her pant pocket.

Looking up at the captain motioning for her to follow him, she finally pulled the FAMAS off the table as she walked away to follow in step.

Kaiross walked in strides to a metal door on the far end of the room. He punched in a few buttons on the keypad and the metal doors slid open. He stepped inside into an observation box with thick, bullet proof glass. He peered down into the pit. It was a large warhouse kind of room with sand covering a good foot of the floor. There were obstacles layed out in various tactical formations. Kaiross saw the wreckage of a BTR with a large hole going in through the front and exiting out the back. There was still smoke from the wreckage. Probably the place where Raszsasal tested the massive boom stick he had slung over his shoulder.

Bishop went over to the weapons rack and grabed a UMP. 45 ad an M16

just like me,...simple.

he then walks over to the metal doors,

welp after you Captain.

Kaiross looked back and nodded towards Bishop. "This is going to be a crash course in weapon firing and tactics, remember all rounds are live, so watch your fire." Kaiross let his M4A1 rest at his right side as his left hand typed away at a small control panel.

"Watch me closely Tamara."

He said before smashing a red button located on the wall. Immediately Kaiross brought his weapon to bear and jumped into the sand pit.

[This is where we practice COMBAT role playing. So i will be explaining these things as we go on.]

Immediately after Kaiross landed on the sand. Three targets sprang up. The first target came up from behind the destroyed BTR closest to him. The second was further back and to the right behind a make-shift wooden fence. The last target was far away at a pillbox. Each of the three targets emitted red beams, indicating fire and their line of sight.

[These are the enemies controlled by Ar0k. Whenever an enemy appears they will most likely be doing something related to the events, and your characters must react to them under risk of being shot, Lets see how Kaiross Reacts.]

Kaiross hit the ground rolling and then running. With his M4A1 he fired quick burst at the target directly in front of him. The target was dropped and Kaiross did a combat slide to the BTR for cover. From a kneeling position he turned and fired towards the second target behind the wooden fence, and then towards the third, in short controlled bursts.

[Here I am responding to the situation. Each post consists of a movement and an attack, in this case Kaiross took cover by the destroyed BTR and took shots on the other targets. In this post Kaiross does something called "Power Playing" i.e. Dropping the first target. But he does not say weather or not he hit the other targets that is left up to the GM to decide, namely Ar0k. ]

The first target is dropped immediately by Kaiross' spray of fire. The second target takes shot straight in the chest. The final target at the far end of the range receives three bullets to the chest and a graze on the right shoulder.

Kaiross downs all the targets.

[It looks like Kaiross hit them all. Ar0k confirms Kaiross' power play and gives him the other two kills. Please make sure to elaborate on how your character is shooting and their exact condition. All that information will help the GM determine weather or not the targets have been hit. Also please try to keep powerplaying to a minimum, every now and then is fine or if its to help advance the story, if you want to go "super saiyan" on their arses you have but to ask the GM and should agree, you may have a blast.]

Kaiross sits crouched behind the BTR, loading a fresh clip into his M4A1. He calls up to the control center.

"Alright! Who's next!?"

[Jump into the pit and let the fun begin!]

She watched the commander drop into the large sand pit below as he proceeded to take out each individual target. Taking a glance around the ledge and the height of the jump Tamara took a deep breath and jumped down into the sand pit as the commander stood waiting for the next volunteer.
She hit the ground with a thud and dopped to one knee before gathering her FAMAS up into her arms and looking up around her then at the captain as she cautiously surveyed the pit before her, waiting for any instruction.
